Compliance and Tribal Enrollment Specialist

$28.43-$31.76/hour, full-time, year-round

The Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing enrollment services to tribal citizens and enrollment information to departments as needed. This person will assist the COO with all administrative functions related to Tribal Council and Executive Administration duties. The incumbent is responsible for setting a positive and professional tone for the Tribe. The position is the first image of the Tribe for new potential tribal citizens, interacts with enrolled tribal citizens, and must maintain a professional and neat appearance. With Administrative Services being a small staff, the Tribe must be able to fully rely on the incumbent’s presence at work.

Naa Kahídi Dancer

$17.88-$19.98/hour, variable hours, seasonal

Perform traditional songs, dances, and stories for visitors. Ideal candidates are individuals who love our culture and want to share it with others. This is a great job for youth of all ages and Elders seeking part-time work. Must be reliable and diligent about attendance at performances as well as unpaid practice sessions. Position requires work in early mornings, evenings, and on weekends and holidays.

Natural Resources Summer Intern

$17.88-$19.98/hour, seasonal

Sitka Tribe of Alaska is seeking to hire Natural Resources Summer Interns to assist with multiple projects within STA’s fisheries and environmental monitoring programs. Interns will be exposed to all areas of the department’s operations.

Tour Guide/Driver

$25.19-$28.14/hour plus gratuities, variable hours, seasonal

Narrate scripted tours for visitors on STA vehicles and assist with tour sales. Ideal candidates are outgoing and friendly with knowledge of our culture and community. CDL with passenger endorsement required, paid training available. Position requires work in early mornings, evenings, and on weekends and holidays. This position is included in the random drug testing pool; marijuana users should not apply.

Tribal Court Administrator

$66,865-$74,705/year, full-time

The Tribal Court Administrator assists in planning, developing, and implementing judicial policies designed to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of court operations and is responsible for the management of the court’s daily administrative operations. This position is responsible for safeguarding the public and private image of the court by promoting professionalism with the court system and avoiding participation in any activity that would reflect adversely upon the judges or the court.
